Take Data Security and Personal Privacy, while the majority is focused on protecting commerce, individual consumers have thrown up their hands and surrendered their intimate details in return for free digital stuff. Not Pankaj. He was brave enough to question the fundamental assumptions of internet commerce and lead the charge for taking a hard look at personal privacy. He called for the creation of new category of digital commerce: Total Privacy. And he led the charge against Facebook and Google long before they were hauled into Congress to explain how they were failing all of us.

I worked closely with the guy. There is no better advocate for what Steve Jobs called thinking different in the pursuit of marketing excellence.

I’ve had the honor of working with Pankaj for over 15-years: as a peer, as a direct report, and as a consultant. In that time, I’ve yet to come across a more inspirational executive. As the Founder & CEO of a technology company choosing leaders to manage critical business elements is the most important decision I had to make.
